1. Online Accountant is a trading name for the services of tax refunds and rebates in Ireland.
2. Online Accountant guarantees that it will use its best resources and skills to file income tax return for its users who are in mutual agreement and are availing services of OnlineAccountant.ie.
3. Online Accountant will file each user’s income tax return based on the information and data along with documentation provided by the client, subject to the legal and regulatory compliance obligations within the prevailing tax laws of Ireland.
4. In the case that there is any change to the applicable tax laws of Ireland or in the rules and laws by the tax legislative authorities, Online Accountant will meet its undertaking to file the income tax return in accordance with the revised law.
5. In circumstances where the user is due for a tax rebate, the rebate will be directly reimbursed to the client by the revenue commissioners as per the practice of tax laws in Ireland.
6. Online Accountant is not responsible for outcome of any self-assessment or income tax return where the client has provided any kind of documentation that is fake, false, incorrect, scammed, misleading in any way; the client has already filed income tax return either through a third party or directly themselves; the client owes any kind of amount to the tax authority; or in the event that the client fails to provide the required data or information necessary for further action of the service provider.
7. When the client readily signs the tax agent authorization form shared by Online Accountant, the client permits Online Accountant to represent them with the tax authorities and to file the client’s income tax return, the client is also agreeing to pay the fee of services required from Online Accountant.
8. Once authorized and officially registered as the client’s tax consultant, all coordination regarding taxes and filing must be handled directly by Online Accountant. Any measure taken by client to make direct contact with the tax office without first consulting with Online Accountant, could jeopardize the status of the income tax return and will absolve Online Accountant of any responsibility or accountability for the final outcome of the income tax return filed.
9. From time-to-time, Online Accountant may amend or add to these Terms and Conditions should the need arise. Such changes will be posted on the onlineaccountants.ie website under “Terms and Conditions” and clients are advised to check the website regularly to receive these updates.
10. Online Accountant ensures that all client information is held as private and confidential.
